Miracles in Life

Ever have something happen that you know is too much of a coincidence? Or a flat out obvious miracle? Well that just happened to me and Bob. We were driving to go talk to somebody about a new car for me but we were feeling unsure if a new car was the right thing to do or not. My car wasn't doing anything wrong but it was getting up there on miles. Well, it was so strange because all of a sudden the bad traction light came on and wouldn't turn back off, and then the cruise control stopping working! We were so freaked out by this that we couldn't help but think God was giving us a nod that a new car was the right thing to do. Ever wonder why people don't accept it more that there are Miracles in Life? Something that just occurred to me was that God knew before we did that the car would start giving us problems and wanted us to start looking for a new car for me.
Ever get a feeling that you're supposed to do something but you ignore it and later find out

that you should of done that thing? We all call it "a gut feeling" and some of us call it "our intuition". But I think it's really the Holy Spirit trying to tell us something. How often do you give credit to the Holy Spirit for helping you? Probably as often as me, not much. That's not good I know. I try to remember to thank God (Heavenly Father/Jesus/Holy Spirit) whenever I remember. I loved what our Pastor at Church said today. He said God's range of sight is a lot wider than ours. Our range of sight is from what we can see from left to right but God's is infinite multi-dimensional.
When Jesus walked the Earth, even though He did many miracles, Jesus did not want people focusing on the miracles He performed, but rather the message He proclaimed and the death He was going to die for us. The same is true today. God would rather that we be focused on the healing miracle of Salvation through Jesus Christ instead of focusing on other healings and/or miracles.
The part of the Bible about Jesus' teaching that I think is really important is that people have faith in God that result in works. Or like people used to sing "people will know they are Christians by their love". Click Album picture below to hear Mark Swayze sing a version of the song. Would people know you were a Christian?
