King Solomon’s Great Wealth

Something incredible just occurred to me while Bob and I were doing our Bible reading the other day. In 2 Chronicles 9:13 God stated that "The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,". Then it occurred to me that if the Anti-Christ is referred to by the number "666" it's pretty incredible that God made sure to state that King Solomon's great wealth was this much "talents of gold" yearly?
King Solomon was asked by God what he wanted after he was awarded the role of King and Solomon said that he wanted wisdom. But then God said "Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life—but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king— wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like.” - 2 Chronicles 1:11,12
Then it occurred to me that Jesus cautions people about wealth when He said “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” - Mark 10:23-27
I believe now that God placed the amount of 666 in this context to make us see that we have to wonder if King Solomon's wealth was his downfall in the end of his life! Seems like it to me. Starting in 1 Kings 11 verse 1 God points out how King Solomon's behavior led to God's disappointment in King Solomon. - 1 Kings 11:1-13
